Recreation, sports bring chiefs to town

The Peninsula played host to a gathering of more than 100 First Nations chiefs and Metis leaders in the lead-up to the North American Indigenous Games. The group, which included Assembly of First Nations National Chief Phil Fontaine, had come together to discuss increasing opportunities for sports and recreation in Aboriginal communities.
